Contributing to the codebase

From week 4 onward, interns work real issues on the project. How that work moves from a branch to a merge — the internal GitLab, branch naming, review, and what's expected in a merge request — is covered in Contribution Workflow.

Interns contribute through the internal GitLab, not the public GitHub mirror. The public rules for outside contributors are on the Contributing page; the placement rules there — what belongs in an app, in main, and in util/ — apply to interns too.

Server & CI/CD Access

Server administration access is granted as needed. It requires signing a use policy and supplying valid ID.

Onboarding for server and CI/CD administration is provided to authorized users once access is granted.
