Code of Conduct

This project is a professional workspace. Conduct yourself accordingly.

Scope

This applies to all project spaces — issues, pull requests, commit messages, code review, discussions, and any venue where you are representing the project.

Standard

Communicate professionally. Keep discussion on the work: the code, the problem, the decision. Disagreement is expected and useful. Direct criticism of an idea, an implementation, or a decision is not a conduct issue and never will be.

Not acceptable

• Discrimination on the basis of human characteristics. We do not enumerate a list. Discriminating against a person for characteristics they hold is unprofessional, and that is sufficient.
• Political grandstanding. Bring your politics to venues built for them. This project is not one.
• Needless aggression. Persistent hostility directed at a contributor, as distinct from criticism of their work.
• Unprofessional conduct generally. The specific forms this takes are too numerous to list and too obvious to require listing.

Security and safety

Tobu Pengin takes security seriously. Do not publish vulnerabilities, credentials, or private data in project spaces. Report security issues privately — see Security for the process.

Enforcement

Maintainers decide what falls within this policy. Contributors who do not meet the standard will be removed from the project quietly and without public discussion. Repeat offenders will not be readmitted.

We do not conduct enforcement in public. There is no tribunal, no thread, and no appeal process. This is intended to protect everyone involved, including the person removed.

Reporting

If a contributor's conduct toward you or someone else is a problem, contact the maintainers directly at HR. Reports are handled privately.
